After going to the compound of St. Andrew Kim Shrine, I went to Poblacion, Baliuag to see one of the most oldest church in Bulacan. After taking a merienda at a market, in front of Joners, I rode a jeep going to Bocaue crossing and rode a tricycle to Poblacion, Bocaue.
How to go to St. Martin of Tours Church?
From Meycauayan: -Take the jeep going to Bocaue. Tell the driver to take you off at Bocaue crossing. -Take the tricycle. Tell the driver to take you off at "Poblacion simbahan". or you can just walk until you reach the Parish, the basic landmark would be the Bocaue river, you will see the the church from afar. From Metro Manila: Either you may take the FX going straight to Bocaue or Bus going to Sta. Maria. -Take the bus going to Sta. Maria. Take off at Bocaue Exit. -Take the jeepney going to Meycauayan/ Marilao/ Monumento. Tell the driver to take you off at Bocaue crossing. -Take the tricycle. Tell the driver to take you off at "Poblacion simbahan". or you can just walk until you reach the Parish, the basic landmark would be the Bocaue river, you will see the the church from afar. Before I end this two-part series of my trip to Bocaue, let me show you a photo of the Meycauayan Old Train Station. I took this shot before taking the jeep going to my barangay. 5/3/2015 01:34:39 pm
I haven't explored Bocaue that much when I used to live in Marilao, the next town after Bocaue before Meycauayan. I missed seeing the nice interior, as well as the rustic exterior of St. Martin of Tours. I'll take a note of your post so next time that we visit Bulacan we can tour around the chapel. 5/5/2015 01:10:36 pm
Never been to this place before and it surely looks nice as they are famous for firecrackers. :) Comments are closed.
