Second day of the celebration of the Carabao Kneeling Festival in Pulilan, Bulacan. The first day was a blast, and I am sure today will be an awesome day as well. For this blog post, this will be a compilation of the photos I took during the street dance. There will be less narrative since the pictures themselves tells their stories. Each dance group represents a barangay in Pulilan. I consider myself blessed to witness the two-day festival. What I learn from this experience is the sense of "community", without the cooperation of the people, or bayanihan, the festival would not be possible. Many Pulilenyos alloted their timss and spirit to keep the centuries old tradition alive. This tradition is what constitutes their identity as a Pulilenyo, a Bulakenyo, and a Filipino. Till next year's festival. Maaraming salamat po. Mabuhay and mga Pulilenyo, Mabuhay ang mga Bulakenyo Leave a Reply. |
kenyoTravelAng "kenyo" ay salitang hango sa Bulakenyo. Layunin ko na mas makilala ang aking lalawigan. Categories
